The Home Minister has forgotten his responsibility: Kumaraswamy

Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday expressed outrage over Home Minister Arag Ganendra's statement on the murder of a youth in Gauripalya, Bangalore.

Home Minister Arag Ganendra, who called the murdered youth a 'Dalit youth', did not call him a Hindu youth anywhere. What does this imply? Is not a dalit youth a Hindu? The former chief minister questioned why this discrimination.

If the police make a statement, the home minister is making another statement. Whose talk is the truth? Whose speech is false? He said the responsible home minister should get all the information and talk.

Anyone involved in the murder should be arrested and sentenced to rigorous disciplinary proceedings. Kumaraswamy insisted that apart from that, it is not necessary to turn it into a controversy.
